Tartan Parade 2025

Last weekend was the inaugural Tartan Parade in Edinburgh City Centre, and we took part by invitation of the Association of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Scotland. Members of the association wore a Tartan tie specifically designed by a former Consul General to symbolise the friendship between Scotland and China. It also happens to be the 40th Anniversary of the twinning of Edinburgh with Xi’An so we had some terracotta warriors parading with us too!

We had a Tartan lion specially made, I’m sure it will come in handy! It was a great day with beautiful weather and it was wonderful to see so many people involved, 1600 in the parade. Our group had over 40 members, including Young Dragons, Little Leopards and parents! We paraded with two dragons and three lions!

Looking forward to next year!
